Terra Kids Run Club is Back for spring 2026!

Terra Kids Run Club is a fitness based, after school program for boys and girls at Cleveland City and Bradley County elementary schools. TKRC is open to kids in 3rd through 5th grade and aims to instill a life long love of health and wellness in the children of Cleveland. The curriculum pairs age appropriate instruction of running basics, nutrition, and stretching, with crafts, snacks, and games. Run Club participants will train for a Terra Running 5k at the end of the season, putting their skills to the test! We follow the Road Runners Club of America Kids Run the Nation curriculum.

Over the past decade, Terra Running has been laying the groundwork to establish Terra Kids Run Club; we have created a stellar reputation in our community, have established local 5k’s that TKRC can train for, and have years of experience hosting Terra Kids Run Camp in the summer for rising K-5th graders. Now, we are excited to bring our experience and connections together to establish an incredible new after school program!

Spring 2026 TKRC sites

Who? 3rd through 5th graders attending the school site. At first, only students attending the site school will be permitted to register for that site. If room is left on teams, students from the same school district who can provide their own transportation will be allowed to register at school sites. Team size at each site is limited.

Where?

Blythe Bower Elementary (Thursdays, 4-5pm)

Candies Creek Cherokee Elementary (Wednesdays 4-5pm)

Mayfield Elementary (Tuesdays, 4-5pm)

When? Each site will meet once weekly on the specified date above. TKRC will start mid February until the end of school, excluding the week of March 9 for spring break.
